Deliver Direct from Supplier to Customer with Maxiloda Glide

A critical commitment these days is how to ensure you can deliver for your customers – on time, in top condition, as promised. What could it mean for your business if you could halve your standard delivery times? – Now that would really turn the dial on time, cost, utilisation and the end customer experience.

Operationally and structurally, distribution systems have been built that depend on goods being moved from distribution centre to distribution centre and from that point on to local (last mile) delivery point.

How much easier would your world be – and how much happier would your customers be if they could get their goods faster, in better condition and at a lower cost? This is the dream that has underpinned some amazing innovations at Maxiloda over the past decade.

At present, when it comes to transport company’s moving bulk, or palletised products in modern trailers, this often requires loading and unloading from a dockway. In some cases, the locations of the dockways can result in the trucks driving past the product’s final destination on the way to a distribution centre for unloading, storage, then re-loading for local / final distribution – that’s allot of wasted time, effort and money.

The key issue is that current double-stacking transport systems use static framing, which cannot be moved by hand. This means that forklifts need to enter the trailer to complete loading and unloading. In some cases, goods might even be unloaded by forklift through the sides of the trailer, requiring even more space to complete the job.

You don’t have to do that with Maxiloda Glide!

With Maxiloda Glide, second-level pallets can be effortlessly rolled the length of the trailer using the dynamic, wall mounted trolley system. This means that pallets can be loaded into the rear of the vehicle from ground level (dockway optional) and can be stored, loaded and unloaded without a forklift ever entering the trailer.

Dockways therefore are note required – for loading and unloading a trailer – Think back to shifting that dial…

You can now load without a dockway if you like – and drop of the product to your very happy customer on route – no need to travel all the way to a distribution centre just to unload a trailer for redistribution elsewhere.

Now that is a true game changer.
