Maxiloda 2022 Recap: A Year of Innovation and Expansion

If 2021 was the year of contraction brought about by COVID, then 2022 was undoubtedly a year of expansion and growth for Maxiloda, as was the case for many of our clients.

2022 marked our fifth year of operations in South America, and our first with a physical office in Peru. The lifting of COVID travel restrictions enabled our management team to reconnect with many of our valued customers in person, which was definitely a key highlight for the year.

We believe nothing enhances the customer experience more than being present with your clients. With that ethos in mind, our in-market team (tag Claudia and Luisa) were able to conduct an astonishing 750 customer meetings in 2022. With each interaction, we learnt more about the local industry and shared how Maxiloda Glide can improve freight efficiency and delivery frequency for all types of transport businesses.

We capped off the year in Peru with 80 double-stacking systems installed and a number of new contracts in the chilled and refrigerated sector under negotiation. Our traditional 15-meter system remained popular for customers looking to maximise the storage capacity, whilst we were also excited to enter the 8m metro sector offering customers enhanced backhaul flexibility for their last-mile delivery vehicles.

Much to our delight, our solutions were recognised and selected for four innovation trials, which resulted in ongoing trials and optimisation programs with some of Latin America's largest distribution companies. In addition, other customers informed us our active participation and management of the trials and operational transformation services set a new standard in customer service for the market. This was a nice accolade for the in-market team, who had been making it a priority to be there for customers, especially during installations, servicing and staff safety training sessions.

With a lot of uncertainty surrounding what the new year may bring, one thing remains certain—Maxiloda's commitment to using technology and innovation to develop the best possible solutions for our clients. In 2023, We're excited to continue our work to help the businesses of tomorrow tread lightly whilst carrying more, we hope you'll continue the journey with us.
